Briefing from BSP
Representatives from Brunei Shell Petroleum will be coming to PTEK during the Higher Education Exhibition. They will be giving briefing on the scholarship oppurtunities, courses relevant for careers with BSP etc on Wednesday, 27th January 2010, 2pm, in the Lecture Theatre 1.
Anyone interested, please submit your name to Ms.Soveyanna or Ms.Raimie (Staffroom A).

For the Upper Sixth 2009 (who I'm sure are all nervous-wreck eagerly waiting for the results!) As well as the current Upper Sixth
PTEK Careers and Higher Education Section will be organising a Higher Education Exhibition on Wednesday, 27th January and Thursday, 28th January 2010. About 14 organisations will be participating including Scholarship Department, National Accreditation Council MOE, HRD Services, MinDef Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies, British Council, BSP,B Lau Enterprise, James Hon, ITB, KUPUSB as well as the local, private (non-government) higher education institutions (Cosmopolitan College, IGS, Micronet)
The exhibition will start at 8.30 and will go on til 4.30 in the Multi-Purpose Hall PTEK
This is your oppurtunity to find best universities, enquire about the courses and the scholarships offered. Please bring your family and friends too. Try to prepare your questions beforehand.
We'll see you Wednesday then

UBD offers four undergraduate honours degrees:
- Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Health Science
- Bachelor of Business

To apply- get the forms through Ministry of Education's web portal at http://www.hecas.edu.bn from 1st February 2010 til 4th March 2010, 4.30pm
Note that you would also have to fill in that form if you wish to apply for scholarship abroad.

Another option for you- GKS Scholarship in Singapore
'Dr GKS Scholarship' is a private sector scholarship administered by the Association of Banks in Singapore. For those of you who are interested to study courses relevant to financial sector in Singapore universities, you may apply for this scholarship. And you will get to work in Singapore for at least 3 years upon the completion of your studies!!
Deadline- 25th January 2010

2010 Korean Government Scholarship Programme for an Undergraduate Course
As stated in the programme booklet, the objective is to provide international students with the opportunity to conduct advanced studies at higher educational institutions in Korea in order to promote international exhanges in education and mutual friendship between the countries.
A total of 150 candidates will be selected. The academic programs are for 4 years after successfully completing a one-year Korean Language Training.
